Our Story
My name is Aniyah Ryals. I am the owner and founder of Pawfresh Foodie. I started this business at 18 years old.
I am a pet owner and started my business through and for my dog. Sophie is a 13-year-old Shih Tzu; and at the beginning of the year 2022, unfortunately, she caught a disease called IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease). During this time, it was difficult for my family and me, because seeing your dog in such terrible pain is heart-wrenching. The only logical option was to get her the help she needed, which ended up costing over $10,000 in medical fees. On top of that, a couple of months after her procedure she stopped eating the food that was administered and recommended by the vet. My first thought was my dog is sick, however, I came up with the idea to start cooking her food. I used all organic ingredients to avoid GMOs, Preservatives, and Hormones. On the first day of eating my food, she absolutely fell in love (literally). After a month of eating my food, I saw instant results in her mobility, energy, and overall health. After a year she eats the food as if it is new every time.
